The administration and staff at Teays Valley is compassionate, respectful, communicative and most importantly supportive to the patients and their families. For families who live out of state they are always willing to provide updates on a moments notice day or night. No matter why your loved one is there they treat them with dignity and respect. You can tell by listening to the staff that every patient is part of their extended family, they truely care about each and every one of them. It takes special people to work in this kind of field, its as if their all ( in our eyes ) our loved ones guardian angels.

This place is disgusting! I came in last night and I'm leaving today! It's freezing, the walls are filthy, my bed has no rails ( have seizures) , I rang my call button at 3:00am nobody came until my breakfast was delivered at 8:30am. Breakfast was a 3x3 square egg thing, a slice of toast unbuttered toasted on one side oatmeal (yuck) and coffee with powdered packets of creme. The bed table looks like it had not been wiped down from the last resident's use., divider curtain stained and dirty, heater vents full of thick lint and dirt particles, wall facing me shows major spackle work with stains everywhere. floor has debris. Wardrobes that devide patients has sink and mirror with tv's with cord hanging down between. Nobody has checked my ringing bell that was repaired due to bell being shorted out after I complained this morning. As of 11:30am I'm getting bedrails. But this is after I've announced I'm leaving. The place smells like feces.

I was in this facility for about 3 and a half weeks and I had a really good experience with them. The nursing staff were all very kind and considerate and very caring and the pt staff was so great to work with. If I had any questions or concerns they were always ready to help me with anything I had any issues with. Everyone was great from the director to the janitorial staff everyone was so kind. I was very scared when I was told I had to go there but everyone there helped put me at ease and made my stay alot more comfortable I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a nursing home for their parents or themselves or for rehabilitation the PT staff is really great they work with you one on one on a daily basis and as I said will always answer any questions or concerns you may have so give them a call if you ever need that kind of service you won't be disappointed.

Just left Teays Valley for second time this year with my husband who had to go through therapy after another fall. Love this place and more important so does he!. They treated us like we were part of their family and we feel like it. When my husband was in the hospital in town he was waiting for an opening to go for therapy and when they told him Teays Valley was full he told me to take him home then! Teays Valley or no where. Well he was fortunate and got a bed so this time he spent over two weeks. Last time 10 days. That is how he knew about Teays Valley. He really loves it there. Everyone made him feel like they knew him all their lives and he was part of the family. As a CNA at three different hospitals in another state I knew what is good and what is bad and I agree with him. This IS the best. The young man who gave him his therapy(forgive me I forgot his name is the most sincere caring gentleman.) The CNA's are awesome as well as the ones that run all the extra curriculum like bingo and such. The office help are so helpful. The meals are filling and delicious with a good variety. I can't say enough about this wonderful place. Only thing that needs some more is parking. Think that may be what they are working on though. I took a picture of the two that helped him get in car to leave but will be going back to get pictures of some of the other employees to put in his memory album.

The administration and staff at Teays Valley goes above and beyond for their patients and their families. My mom, family members and friends have all been patients there and we have been extremely pleased. I would highly recommend Teays Valley Center.
